Shop Policies

I take great pride in my art, and I take the utmost care to clearly display and describe items in my shop and to ship purchases to customers. My hope is that your purchase is something you will enjoy for years to come!
Before finalizing a purchase, please read the specific details that I provide for each item. If you have any questions or you would like more information about an item in my shop, please contact me and I will be happy to chat.
Vintage frames used in my artwork may have minor imperfections including, but not limited to, scratches or small dents. I cover imperfections with gesso and paint, however their shape may still be slightly visible. These minor blemishes add character to the piece.
To protect its delicate nature, original artwork is carefully packaged in a plastic sleeve, cardboard, foam, and/or bubble-wrap before it is boxed. Please unbox gently and with clean, dry hands!
Items in my shop are shipped from Arlington, MA (USA) typically within three business days, and items that have already shipped may not be returned or refunded.
Commissioned artwork items are final sale. Commissions are typically completed within four weeks from the time I receive the signed contract and deposit.
I am not responsible for items that have been damaged or lost during the shipping process, nor for items stolen after delivery. In the unlikely event that you receive an item that is damaged or defective--aside from damage sustained during shipping--I will consider a refund on a case-by-case basis. For this, you must email a description and photograph(s) of the damage to niki@thefeinarts.com within five days of item receipt. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging to The Fein Arts before a refund is possible, and the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
