Complete 8-piece set of "Christmas Celebrations of Yesteryear" collector's plates with cozy illustrations of Christmases past by artist Martha B. Leone. Excellent condition; no scratches or chips.
 
Plates measure 8 inches in diameter and are trimmed in 23 karat gold. Plates are for decoration only; not food-safe.
 
While no information exists to identify the location of each scene, the plate titled "Home for Christmas" was immediately recognizable to me as I'm a Cape Cod native--it depicts Chatham, MA on Cape Cod. Therefore, I suspect that other plates in the set may also depict actual locations in and around New England.
